Subdivision Plat - Cumberland Falls Plaza, Request for Approval of their proposed plans. Review Final Plat, Erosion Control Plan, and Landscaping Plan

Mr. Robinson explained that the reason for the special meeting was to follow up on the Review of the Final Plat for the Cumberland Falls Plaza Subdivision. In further discussion Mr. Robinson explained there are two stages that need approval, the Preliminary plan stage which was approved in the March 15, 2007 planning meeting and then the Final plan stage which is to be address in this meeting.

According to the development ordinance the Final plan shall not be approved prior to  two weeks following approval to the Preliminary plan, thus the reason for the called special meeting.

Mr. Robinson ask Mr. Burke if the erosion control and landscape plan had been put in place. Mr.

Burke elaborated on the soil erosion and landscaping plan, explaining that five percent of the parking would have to be in seeded in grass, trees, and shrubs, an actual buffer wall will not be required.

As for the erosion control plan, they will be using hay bails and silk fences which is a primary control mechanism. The storm sewers are already installed and the plot has been graded.

Mr. Burke explained that the City Utilities would need to sign off on the Plat and he would have that signed the following morning if the Final Plat was approved.

Other items of concern were discussed with David Myers, such as the traffic lights at the entrance.
